This set is a learning of the eco-dye process. I am working with spare muslin, cut and stained in a tea bath. The botanicals are either found or shopped locally. Typically, I will arrange the pattern and process the dye the night before; to unravel and set dry the following morning. There is delight in the unpredictability of the outcome, which is an abstraction. It is a direct act of training my mind to favor process over product.
